Prescription Drug Drop Off Day – Friday May 17th, 2013

Prescription Drug Drop-Off

Friday May 17th, 2013 9 – 2:30 pm.

Old and Unused prescription medications pose a problem for many in the City of Kawartha Lakes. In association with Ontario Association of Chiefs of Police (OACP) Substance Abuse Committee, The City of Kawartha Lakes Police Services, The City of Kawartha Lakes Paramedic Services and the Kawartha Crime Stoppers, and other local businesses would like to invite you to drop off your unused medications.

… In addition to the above Safe Communities of City of Kawartha Lakes, Remedy’s Rx, and Castle Keep Retirement Inc. have all volunteered to help the cause. The goal of the day is to reduce access and availability of prescription medications.

Bring your unused medications to Paramedics in the Park at Victoria Park Armoury at 210 Kent St West, Lindsay, Friday May 17th for a free drop off. Please remove or black out labels. This is an anonymous drop off.

Help children, families, and help keep our community safe.

Visit for more details or contact City of Kawartha Lakes Police Sergeant Terry Cox at 705-340-3411

Thank you
