Two youths caught entering parked vehicles have been diverted to a Youth Criminal Justice Act diversion program.
Around 11pm, Monday evening an Applewood Crescent resident observed two young males entering a neighbour’s parked car and called police. A short time later, a Sanderling Crescent resident observed two young males on his front porch and gave chase.
Police arrested a 14 year old boy and a 17 year old boy for the above mentioned offences.
Through consultation with the boys’ families, they have been referred to a Youth Criminal Justice program.
